L'inédite 01 - Cueillette sur Mars
Manon Cezaro & Alexis Jamet
Cueillette sur Mars, Manon Cezaro & Alexis Jamet
First poster in the L’Inédite series, a collection inviting different artists to create a personal image, drawing on their current practice, ongoing processes, or simply their present work.
While the techniques differ, the process remains the same. Alexis paints ink forms that he draws and cuts out to create stencil-based works on paper. Manon draws shapes that she casts in plaster, then tints using an airbrush. L’Inédite is the combination of both approaches. The image becomes a dialogue: one begins, the other responds. The fusion forms a second stage of exploration, building from what each has produced. The plaster forms are scanned and interwoven with crisp-edged arabesques and diffused colors, somewhere between sculpture and mobile.
