Since June 2025, Studio Fidèle has ended its commercial Risograph printing services. This decision comes from a clear priority: concentrating our time and energy on Fidèle’s editorial work—publishing books and experimenting objects fabrication as clothes and textiles —rather than further expanding fabrication and service activities.

Our Riso story began in 2015 at Les Grands Voisins, a vibrant third-place where skill-sharing and mutual aid sparked our printing practice. Over ten years we learned, iterated, and grew—culminating in a stable workshop at Villa du Lavoir in 2019, now home to our publishing house. Along the way we helped professionalize the local risograph scene: a team that sometimes reached ten people (printers, interns, designers, freelancers, volunteers), four twin-drum machines, forty-five color drums, mountains of paper—and ink-stained hands we’ll always remember fondly!

Today, external Riso services continue through Magma, an independent studio launched by members of our former team and based near Ledru-Rollin. At Fidèle, our presses will now be dedicated exclusively to our own publications and special projects.
